  • Excursion to Paule and Munduge

    Technical Characteristics

    DIFFICULTY: E (HIKING)
    ELEVATION GAIN: 430 M
    TYPE: RING ROUTE
    LENGTH: 7 KM
    DURATION: 6 HOURS

    We will start from Spidinie, immersing ourselves in a path that will lead us to discover one of the most striking geological formations in the area.
    With an elevation gain of more than 300 meters, we will climb the steep walls of this impressive rock structure, reaching an altitude of 545 meters. The trapezoidal shape of Paule e Munduge, with its vertical walls rising more than 100/200 meters to the 777 m summit, will leave us breathless.
    Along the way, we will admire the rich Mediterranean vegetation, characterized by holm oaks, strawberry trees, mastic trees, wild olive trees and carob trees that contrasts with the rugged granite walls.
    A unique experience for nature and adventure lovers, a total immersion in the wild heart of Talana.

  • The Juniper Trail

    Discovering Baccu Sa Figu (fig gorge): a hike among centuries-old junipers. We will leave from Coe Serra Bridge, taking a path that will lead us to discover one of the most striking gorges in Ogliastra.
    The route, surrounded by lush vegetation, will offer us breathtaking views and the chance to admire the ancient granite steps, evidence of an industrious past.
    The red porphyry walls that characterize the gorge will create a unique backdrop for our photographs.
    The centuries-old junipers, the real stars of this hike, will accompany us all along the trail, providing cool shade and a heady scent.

  • Rio Orostala hike

    An adventure along the Rio Orostala: discovering an archaeological treasure. Starting from Baccu ‘e Paule, we will walk along the creek, immersed in a natural landscape of extraordinary beauty, until we reach the striking bridge “Su Fronte ‘e Is Cerbos.”
    We will visit the fascinating tomb of the giants “S’Urgu” and the mysterious domus de janas “Silla Caccari,” testimonies of ancient civilizations.
    We will close our itinerary with a visit to the tomb and nuraghe of Nercone, completely immersing ourselves in the history of Ogliastra.

  • The Granite Route

    A journey into the heart of Sardinia, an unforgettable adventure to discover the mountains of Talana! We will arrive at an altitude of 1020 meters, immersed in an unspoiled landscape, visiting some of the most important archaeological sites in the area.
    Admire the imposing Pretzos nuraghe, walk the majestic nuragic wall of Buruntaccu and discover the mysteries of the S’Urgu giants’ tomb and the Silla Caccari domus de janas.
    We will conclude our tour with the nuraghe and giants’ tombs of Nercone.
    Upon request, we can arrange a typical lunch at local sheepfolds for a complete and authentic experience.
